Nia: Who would have thought that an engine like Thomas would have fallen in love with another engine. Thomas: And then, I rolled forward to Ashima, pressed on her buffers, and me and her had the best day ever. Ashima blushed heavily but Thomas was an eager beaver when he told it. Narrator: The next morning, Thomas was telling Rebecca, Gordon, Nia, Percy, James and Emily about his relationship with Ashima. (The scene cuts to the engines at Tidmouth Sheds early next morning) Diesel scowled.ĭiesel: If I can't have Thomas, then no one can. He was on his way back to Tidmouth Sheds. Narrator: As soon as The Fat Controller left, Diesel saw Thomas. You will go to the Mainland and will be only be allowed to come back to Sodor early next morning. The Fat Controller: I'm not interested in your excuses, Diesel. And what were you thinking about that oil?!ĭiesel: Sir, I just found the oil at the DieselWorks and. The Fat Controller: You have definitely caused confusion and delay. Narrator: That evening, The Fat Controller spoke severely to Diesel.
(The scene fades to Diesel at Knapford Station) Thomas: If there's oil, that can only mean one thing. But, what was that oil doing on the rails. (After pulling, Nia lets go of Thomas's train) And after Julia cleaned up the oil, wheelturn by wheelturn, Nia pulled Thomas and his train back from the edge and to safety. Narrator: So, Julia attached a chain between Thomas's break van and Nia. (Thomas is still staying as still as he can whilst he dangles)
Narrator: So, Nia headed off to the cliffs to save Thomas. (The scene cuts to Nia and James puffing into Knapford Station) Narrator: So, Julia ran off to get to Knapford Station. (Julia stops at the lake and climbs onto the grass) (The scene fades to Julia swimming towards the river bank of Knapford) Possibly Julia's died because of that fall. (The scene cuts to the bottom of the abyss. (Julia misses the cliff rock and plummets into the abyss below) She then feels something slippery on her feet) (Julia continues to stagger along the beam. There was a bit of oil on Thomas's bufferbeam. And inch by inch, she staggered along Thomas's bufferbeam. Narrator: Julia looked the platform and it was pretty close. You're the bravest member of the MerseyGirls. Climb out of my cab and tell Nia to come and save me. Julia: How high is this? (Gasps) Oh my god. (Thomas crashes into the buffers and stops just short of the cliff edge) Thomas: (laughs) Because of the fact that you got the golden (slipping on the oil) buuuuuuuuuuuzer. Julia: My audition back then was a blast, Thomas. He pulled a switch and changed the points to the track with the slippery oil. Narrator: Ruth's out of control robot had knocked out the signal box manager. Narrator: Thomas was having a great time with his MerseyGirls friend, Julia. Thomas and Julia: (singing) # This is our fight song! Take back our life song! Prove we're alright sooooooooonnng! # (Both laugh) (The scene cuts to Thomas puffing with his goods train and Julia in his cab) Narrator: And Diesel rolled away with laughter. Narrator: Diesel had put oily liquid near a track that lead to some dangerous buffers.ĭiesel: Now, this is what Thomas gets for falling in love with Ashima. Narrator: But, little did Thomas know was that he was about to be in jeopardy. (The scene cuts to Diesel putting some oil on the track) Narrator: So, Thomas headed off to deliver his cargo to Rosie at Vicarstown. Thomas: Well, I know exactly where I'll go. It's very precious and you need to go a safe route. (Toots)Ĭranky: You need to be careful with that cargo, Thomas. I think that he just wants a little attention. Is Stuart back to bug Cranky again? If you ask me, you two. Go and find somewhere else to bug other people. He typically visits Cranky at the Docks.Ĭranky: Don't mind Stuart, MerseyGirl. (Stuart the Seagull's squeaking is heard) Rosie needs them.Ĭranky: Well, Carly and Big Mickey are busy. Thomas: I've come to collect some spare parts to take to Vicarstown. Especially here at Brendam Docks.Ĭranky: Hello, Thomas. Big cranes lift lots and lots of supplies from all over the world.Ĭranky: Whoa! Careful, Stuart! I almost hit you!Ĭranky: You have to be careful around these parts, little friend. Narrator: But, the most important place on the island is Brendam Docks. Thomas is the most useful engine on Sodor. (The scene shows Thomas racing with Percy and Nia down the mainline)
